Theme
As this slot is based on the animated US television programme Family Guy the characters of the show make an appearance here. Peter, his wife Lois, kids Chris, Meg and Stewie and Brian the dog take the place of the higher valued symbols while props such as Stewie’s teddy bear, a beer bottle and television set make up the lower value symbols. The Family Guy logo acts as the wild and the backdrop is a scene from the Griffin family’s living room. The animation sticks to the source material and the soundtrack is the theme tune from the series.
World Bonus Feature
This is triggered when you land three World Bonus symbols on the middle reels. You’ll then be presented with a globe that you need to spin to be awarded one of three bonuses. Firstly, the Drunken Clam bonus requests players to pick a character to win a cash prize. You then need to pick beer taps to be rewarded with bonus cash.The second bonus you may be awarded is Chicken Fight. Here you get to choose between Peter Griffin and a giant chicken as your fighter. Stewie makes up to three wild symbols appear on a single reel and Brian has the ability to trigger the World Bonus feature with only two of the three symbols normally required.
Verdict
The Family Guy slot sticks closely to the show it is based on and so fans of the cartoon for grown-ups will love this slot. It is incredibly entertaining and retains some of the humour present in the television series. The bonus features are interesting and varied and present the opportunity for some decent wins.
