Theme
Interestingly, this game has two modes for the base game – Jungle Mode and Big City Mode – reflecting the two very distinct settings of the film. Each mode has its own bonus features, all of the film’s main characters are here. The Kong logo is the scatter symbol and the huge ape himself is, rather aptly, the wild symbol.
Wild Jungle Re-spins
This is one of the bonuses available in the game’s Jungle Mode. It is triggered by landing three or more King Kong symbols anywhere on the reels. Players are then given three re-spins, with the King Kong icon remaining in place for the duration of the feature.
Skull Island Bonus
Getting three or more Kong logo symbols anywhere on the reels activates the Jungle Mode’s second bonus feature. Players are presented with a map of Skull Island and 13 choices. You’ll then pick from the 13 until you reveal three creatures the same. Each is worth a different prize and multiplier. Wild Kong Re-spins
Three or more King Kong symbols triggers the Wild Kong Re-spins feature. Players are given three re-spins with varying expanding wilds. In the first spin the wilds expand on reels one and five. The second re-spin sees reels two and four covered in expanded wilds and for the third re-spin the wilds expand on reels one, three and five.
City Tower Bonus
Big City Mode’s second bonus feature is activated with three or more Kong logo symbols. It features the film’s iconic scene where King Kong is being attacked at the top of the City Tower. Players need to pick attacking aeroplanes to reveal cash prizes.When the City Tower bonus round is over, players are returned to the Jungle Mode.
Verdict
