Werewolf Wild is a five reel video slot with 25 fixed paylines. The game was designed and produced by Aristocrat and is playable from 25p per spin.
Theme
Game play takes place in the dark night streets of Victorian London. Symbols include a carriage, street lantern, policeman and male and female civilian characters. The werewolf’s head is, rather aptly, the wild symbol and the scatter symbol portrays a werewolf howling at a full moon. A gold coin acts as the third special symbol.
Mystery Coin
This gold coin symbol has the power to add multipliers to your wins. If you land a coin symbol anywhere on reel one and also a wolf wild symbol anywhere on the reels, you’ll be awarded a random multiplier of between 2x to 40x your stake.
Claw Swipe
Every so often during the base game the werewolf’s claw will turn up to five symbols wild before the spin settles. This feature is randomly triggered and if you’re lucky it can prove quite lucrative.
Werewolf’s Touch Free Spins
This bonus feature is activated when you land three pr more full moon symbols anywhere on the reels at the same time. The more bonus symbols you land, the more free spins you’ll be given. Three symbols bags you seven free spins, you’ll get 14 free spins for four scatters and 28 free spins will be given for landing five scatters. But the best thing about this bonus round is the contagious wilds. If the wild wolf symbol lands next to any human symbol, that human will be turned wild too. In turn, the new wilds can turn humans next to them wild too and so on. If luck is on your side then you could walk away from the free spins round with some pretty great wins.
Verdict
The graphics on Werewolf Wild are great but the soundtrack is a little disappointing. However, the cool bonus features do make up for whatever the soundtrack may be lacking. This may not be a slot that you’ll come back to again and again but it’s a great choice for a change of pace.
