The Aliens slot game picks up on the horror of a group of colonial space marines being terrorised by a particularly unfriendly alien as they investigate the mysterious disappearance of a colony.
Theme
With 3D graphics and creepy sound effects that seem like they come straight from the film, this video slot game has a pretty authentic feel as, through the eyes of a marine, players explore the abandoned colony trying to figure out what happened to all those people.
Game Play
The Aliens slot game can be played from 15p to £150 a spin. It features five reels and 15 paylines with maximum winnings sitting at an impressive 3,817 times your stake. Killing the queen in level three wins players an attractive 240 times their stake.
Levels
Aliens features three different levels that players have to work their way through.
Level 1
The game starts off in the searching area where players scan for alien activity, collecting symbols through successful spins to fill up an Alien Activity Meter and progress to the next level. There are five reels and during level one Wilds can appear in all but the first reel.
Level 2
Players have to fight their way through the alien horde while doing their best to reserve ammunition. Players can collect more ammo but if they use too much they’ll be relegated back down to level one.
Level 3
This level is unlocked by reaching the Hive. In this level the aim is to kill the queen and her eggs, empty the health meter and win. This can be pretty tricky – making Aliens a great game for more experienced players, but if your marine is killed at this point you do get to keep your winnings.
Verdict
Definitely not one for the easily spooked, Aliens is a fantastic game for both fans of the movie franchise and video slot players who like an element of story alongside game play.
