Winneroo Games – one of the internet’s better known gambling businesses – has recently acquired control of Ludos Media. The acquisition of the London-based company is certainly a curious one, since the company they have taken over is a marketing one, not one associated with gambling.
Re-Branded
Since the purchase, Winneroo will now be rebranded as Ludos Interactive, and will contain the Winzino Casino, Ludos’ most prized asset. Under the terms of the deal, the affiliates program run by Ludos Media will also be incorporated into Winneroo, or should we say, the new Ludos Interactive company.Despite it being Winneroo who have acquired Ludos Media, it is the Ludos name which will preside over the ownership of Winneroo, and Winzino. That may initially appear confusing to outsiders. It is an exciting time for Winneroo, following their inclusion in the 2015 EGR Operator Awards, where they were named in the running for the Rising Star, and Alternative Operator category prizes. They were also named in the Innovative Start-Up of the Year category at both the 2014, and 2015 editions of the Operator Marketing and Innovation Awards.
B2B Software
The gambling world seems to be getting larger and larger for this small-scale company. The introduction of B2B software, and further website launches are set to be the next giant leap for Winneroo. Players at Winzino and Winneroo’s popular mobile casino needn’t worry too much, a few changes are thought to impact them. From their perspective, it will be a case of business as usual.
