Sports betting and gaming powerhouse GVC Holdings PLC are set to take over Bwin.Party on February 1st 2016 following a £1.1 billion bid.

Battle To Win Bwin

GVC Holdings came out ahead of their rivals 888 Holdings back in September 2015 after a lengthy battle to see who’d win Bwin.Party. Bwin’s revenue increased by 5% last year following strong growth in mobile users and better performance in sports betting and casinos, so is a considerable asset for GVC Holdings.Bwin shareholders approved every resolution put forward during the bid on December 15th 2015, so the new GVC stock release should take place on February 2nd 2015 on the London Stock Exchange.Sports Betting Giants GVC Holdings To Take Over Bwin.Party
