The licence has been given to Play’n GO by Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN). The ONJN is the regulatory body that governs online wagering in Romania, and that sets the conditions of obtaining a licence.

The organisation has said that the application for a Romanian licence was the result of an increasing demand for iGaming services within the country.
