Global Gaming 2018 Award Winners Revealed

Held at the Sands Expo Convention Centre in Vegas, kicking off the G2E show, the Global Gaming Awards give awards to those considered to be the very top of the gaming and iGaming industry during the year.

This year’s Global Gaming Awards in Las Vegas saw Aristocrat and SG Digital scooping up two of the most prestigious awards each.Held at the Sands Expo Convention Centre in Vegas, kicking off the G2E show, the Global Gaming Awards give awards to those considered to be the very top of the gaming and iGaming industry during the year.globalgaming 

Aristocrat and SG Digital

Aristocrat picked up the Land-Based Product Award for Lightning Link, and Slot of the Year for Game of Thrones, a testament to the quality of the games provided by the popular developer.SG Digital picked up awards in both the Digital Industry Supplier category and its OpenBet sports betting platform won the prize for Digital Product.Two of the highest profile gaming companies in the world, this is excellent news for both Aristocrat and SG Gaming.

Other winners

Other winners in categories, which were decided by a team of 70 judges, were bet365 who picked up the award for Digital Operator, while the Product Innovation gong went to Evolution Gaming for their unique and revolutionary Lightning Roulette game.The award for American Executive wen to Joe Asher of William Hill Us, the bookmaker having made huge waves in the US market since the legalisation of sports betting in the country earlier this year.The awards took place in front of a crowd of over 700 professionals from throughout the industry, with the Lead Partner of this year’s awards being BetConstruct, and Konami, Gaming Inc. being the official Content Sponsor for the ceremony.While every company who picked up an award will be delighted with the result, it is clearly Aristocrat and SG Gaming, while the efforts of William Hill in the US market being rewarded is also vital to the company’s plans.
