US bookmaker DraftKings have launched their ‘Flash Bet’ tool enabling DraftKing customers access to instant win bets placed at Wimbledon, which kicks off today.
New Wagering Tool
DraftKings, who operate mobile and retail sports book services in New Jersey and Mississippi, have made available the new wagering tool for customers wishing to place a wager at the British Grand Slam Tennis Tournament at Wimbledon. They can now place live, in-game bets between points in any match played in the tournament.DraftKing Customers will be able to view the bets they place on a timeline, and gain ‘instant win payouts’ if wagers placed are winners.Senior Vice President of DraftKings, Jordan Mendell spoke of the importance of a live betting tool for Draftkings customers as it aims to “Satisfy a growing customer base in excess of 11 Million and counting.“ Live wagering is already widely popular today, but also represents a crucial part of the customer experience and engagement tomorrow.”“ Short of playing on the court themselves, we are wholly invested in bringing our customers as close as possible to Wimbledon this year, while also giving them a taste of the lightning-quick innovations to come.”

Wimbledon, the British Grand Slam Tennis Tournament kicks off today, 1 July 2019 and finishes on Sunday 14th July 2019. Novak Djokavic and Angelique Kerber will be back to defend their singles titles won in 2018.The women’s singles this year sees an increase in qualifiers from 12 to 16, doubles qualifying will be eliminated because of this. This is the first year we see women’s singles in line with men’s, which remains unchanged. On Court no 1, there’s a brand new retractable roof cover, like Centre Court, preventing rain from delaying play. Fingers crossed for sunshine over the next fortnight!
