Playtech could have suffered badly from the licensing change affecting their popular Marvel brand of slots, but instead they quickly responded by releasing the popular Age of Gods series, and followed that up with a stack of top-quality Batman games in 2016.If you are a Playtech fan and a DC fan, then there’s great news for you, because there’s plenty more superhero themed slots coming from Playtech in 2017!

What’s coming?

The announcement was made at the ICE Totally Gaming Conference in London this week, confirming that Playtech will be launching six new DC branded titles in total this year. The slots being released are Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, Suicide Squad, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, so there’s something for every DC fan.The announcement of slots based on the Christopher Nolan Batman Trilogy may be an annoyance to Microgaming, who had previously released games based on the latter two films, although these can no longer be found online.playtech 2017

Perhaps the most exciting part of this announcement is that all of these slots will be included in the already stacked DC Super Heroes Progressive Jackpot network, which currently includes the 2016 Batman series, and The Green Lantern, with Superman, Superman II and Man of Steel due to be added in the coming weeks.Speaking of the deal with DC, Playtech’s CEO said:“This is a hugely significant deal for Playtech and we’re delighted to have a wider-reaching exclusive DC film- and TV-branded content licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. We’ve had phenomenal feedback from our licensees based on the high-quality and calibre of the DC-branded games we rolled out in 2016.”Great news for fans of Super Heroes and online casino play!
