Stricter Monitoring Of Player Information
SkillOnNet must submit a report to the regulator before 1st March 2021 as to how they are monitoring their Swedish players and if they are residing in Sweden permanently. At the moment only permanent residents are able to register under the regulatory laws.The regulator will monitor the way the operator processes its registered player information, player identification, and checking all newly registered players against self-exclusion registers. The regulator also voiced concerns on its registered players with SkillOnNet brands and identified more issues regarding the company’s permitted manual processes.SkillOnNet who operates many online platforms in Sweden has been found guilty of violating bonus terms in 2019, after receiving a stern warning they were issued a fine of 14m SEK. After appealing the fine they finally lost last week.SkillOnNet had been found violating Swedish regulations after offering players registration bonuses, something which has been strictly prohibited since 2019.
