Isle of Man based software giant Microgaming have announced it’s continued licensing agreement with Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc to develop a new Tarzan branded slot game.The deal, orchestrated by Creative Licensing Corporation will see Microgaming release a second Tarzan title to be developed by Indie studio, Fortune Factory Studios, exclusively for Microgaming customers.
Worldwide Appeal
The new branded slot is based on the original novels written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, where jungle hero Tarzan and his faithful animal friends embark on adventures deep within a jungle.Chief commercial officer for Microgaming Jean-Luc Ferriere spoke about the new slot,“ We are excited to extend our brand partnership with Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc to create the next iteration of Tarzan, a timeless character and brand with a worldwide appeal.“ The upcoming game from Fortune Factory Studios will be one of several branded slots to launch on Microgaming’s platform this year as we continue to diversify, extend and refresh our content offering.”
Iconic Character
Tarzan is renowned worldwide with a firm following of fans. The novels have seen around 52 movies based around the iconic character and his animal friends, these include, stage adaptations, animations features, and seven television series and thousands of written publications.The latest Tarzan slot is being developed from scratch giving it a unique look and feel. The game is due for release in 2020.
