The Mansion Group has made the decision to close its sports betting platform due to market conditions after an in-depth business restructure.Instead, the Mansion Group will focus entirely on its Mansion Casino, Slots Heaven, and Casino.com brands in the UK. In 2018, the Mansion Group relaunched its sports betting arm under MansionBet after scoring huge sponsorships with Crystal Palace and AFC Bournemouth football clubs.

Customers Can Still Withdraw Winnings

MansionBet focused heavily on horse racing, boxing, and snooker and current customers have been assured they can withdraw winnings up until the closure date of 31st March 2022, otherwise customers services will continue to help customers with withdrawals after that date.Any winning open bets will be paid until 28th March, and open bets on upcoming sports events will be refunded.Mansion CEO Christian Block said, “After careful deliberation, we have decided to cease trading our MansionBet brand. The commercial decision was a difficult one, but it does provide an opportunity to focus on our casino brands, where we have a long history of excelling.“To minimise the impact on customers, we have ensured customers’ future winning continue to get paid out, and stakes will be returned regardless of the outcome. Finally, I would like to thank all our colleagues and partners for building the sportsbook brand, and our loyal customers for their support throughout.”

Bristol City Football Club

Bristol City Football Club has a long-standing partnership with the Mansion Group and the closure will have a direct effect on the partnership as the MansionBet logo is emblazoned across the player’s home and away match kits. The football club will continue to use the MansionBet branding until the end of the football season, but the partnership with MansionBet will cease on the 31st March.
