The state of New Jersey were very happy this weekend as they were able to place odds on the famous Oscars Ceremony held in LA. This is the first time bets have been placed on the ceremony since the Federal ban was lifted in 2018.The US Supreme Court lifted the ban last year and betting in New Jersey has grown significantly.

The demand was so high for betting on the Oscars, Grammys, Emmys etc, it pushed operators in New Jersey to offer odds, which they couldn’t refuse the public!Roma was the most popular to win ‘Best Picture’, but was pipped at the post by Green Book, Black Panther received the second most popular votes in that category.
