Ascot is one of the biggest and most popular racecourses in the UK, Betfred have secured a deal to be the ‘Official Bookmaker’ for the next three years, running from 2019-2021.

This is not the first time Betfred have sponsored Ascot, they previously had a contract but pulled out after racecourses launched their own on-course pool betting. Fred Done, founder of Betfred had always maintained a close relationship with Ascot after being involved with the ‘Bet With Ascot Partnership’, which was launched last year.The new deal will see Betfred operating the two shops that are situated within the Ascot site and also sponsor the Betfred Heritage Handicap, which is held on Summer Mile Day, 13th July. They will also be the official bookmakers of the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup held in August.
