Very few gaming franchises in history have enjoyed the longevity, or the popularity that Worms has. With countless console and PC games being released (including the recently launched Worms Battleground) as well as an abundance of mobile games, the little, heavily armed worms have become a staple of most gamer’s collections. It didn’t take long for the online casino scene to pick up on the popularity of the game, and the Worms slot found a large audience, an audience that Blueprint are hoping to improve upon with the sequel, Worms Reloaded.
About the slot
A five-reel, 20 fixed payline slot, worms brings all the imagery and graphics from the games to life, with many of your favourite weapons appearing on the reels.Card symbols play the part of lower values here, which is a shame as there is comfortably enough within the artwork of games for this not to be necessary, but the metallic looking symbols, complete with bullet holes, at least fit the theme. The design is stunning in general, with a traditional Worms battleground as the backdrop, and the theme tune and sound effects bringing the game to life.
Gameplay
There’s a few features here, including four randomly triggering base game features. When the grenade in the logo explodes, you will trigger one of four features, which includes Holy Hand Grenade which offers more scatter symbols, and Concrete Donkey which creates extra wilds.Land scatter symbols on reels one and three, and one of four symbols on reel five to trigger the associated feature, which include Jetpack Bonus, a pick and click game that can lead to big wins, and Super Sheep Free Spins, where you’ll get six free spins on a 5×4 reel set, with Super Sheep wilds being added to the reels at random.A great game, with excellent features, Worms Reloaded is a great addition to the franchise.
