Players who opt to self-exclude from Unibet can block access to all gaming websites and apps, for a six-month period up to five years.Unibet offers the same time frame exclusions within it’s site, and claim they are the first operator to use Gamban for the full exclusion time, as Gamban elsewhere can only be used to block gaming site access for twelve months.
Block 30,000 Plus Gambling Sites
The blocking software from Gamban can be downloaded and used across multiple devices to block in excess of 30,000 online gaming sites, with regulated and unregulated sites covered. This service will be free to customers who wish to use the software.Gamban Chief Executive Jack Symons said,“ Self Exclusion must evolve to protect at-risk individuals from different angles – devices, ID and spend. Unibet and it’s parent company Kindred, recognise the value in mirroring the duration blocking software to the amount of time players selects to self-exclude, from six months to five years.”Kindred General Manager Neil Banbury said,“ We are strong advocates for education around responsible gambling and ensuring all of our customers are able to make an informed choice.“ All our customers should have the tools and the support they need to enjoy our products responsibly and by offering this service for free to all our customers we are certainly taking steps in the right direction,”
