Since the departure of Per Eriksson as CEO of NetEnt back in March (2018), there has been much speculation as to who was going to step into the role on a full time basis.Since Eriksson left, Therese Hillman, who has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of NetEnt since January 2017, stepped into the role to act as interim manager.Hillman clearly impressed in those two months because it was announced yesterday (May 22nd, 2018) that Hillman will be stepping into the role of CEO at NetEnt on a permanent basis, with immediate effect.

With an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the highly regarded Stockholm School of Economics, Therese Hillman worked in the e-commerce industry before her move to NetEnt, working in the industry for 10 years and holding the position of CEO for Gymgrossisten. Hillman was also a Board Member at Unibet.
