It may be a while off yet, but Halloween is approaching fast and the favourite holiday of the alternative looks to be a belter this year, with Microgaming due to release a slot based on the classic Halloween movie. The software developer has signed an agreement with Compass International Pictures which will give them the opportunity to create slot games based on some excellent movies, but they are starting with one of the very best, a seminal horror classic that is still loved today.Due for release on October 4th, we don’t know a great deal about this slot yet, but we know more than we did thanks to Microgaming’s newly released trailer.
What to expect
The trailer includes footage from the first film in the extensive series, and includes some of the most well-known characters. Obviously, Jason himself appears, as well as Laurie Strode, who was played by Jamie Lee Curtis, and Donald Pleasance’s Samuel Loomis.A five-reel, 50 payline slot that really brings the John Carpenter film to life, Halloween is steeped in the tension and fear that made the movie so immensely popular. The reels are adorned with creepy images, from clown masks, to knives, and characters from the movie.
Gameplay
The bonus features look to be excellent here. There are Wandering Reels, a Trick or Treat feature, and a Bogeyman Bonus feature which offers free spins. It’s hard to know at this point how good this game is going to be, because a trailer is not a lot to go on, but if the gameplay and graphics shown in this trailer are anything to go on, then Halloween is going to be an epic slot that is going to see Microgaming cement their place as one of the very best software developers in the world.https://youtu.be/OpbwP4HJsf8
