Site Review
Winning Room is an interesting example of an iGaming company doing the opposite of what many others are.
The trend in the online casino world at this point appears to be putting similar (if not identical) content (and often design work) out across as many sites as possible, resulting in a wide array of clones that are (assumedly) designed to find a wider audience.
The Evoke Group opted for an approach that could not differ more, taking their two well-known brands Whitebet casino and Hey Poker, and merging them with Vinnarum, their Scandinavian casino brand, to create the iGaming equivalent of a supergroup, one online casino site that offers a combination of the highlights of the three former brands.
Of course, this sets the bar pretty high for what Winning Room Casino is expected to accomplish, in fact, it’s going to take quite a lot for this site not to be a disappointment, and far more than that for it to impress.
So, can Winning Room Casino prove itself to be more than the sum of its parts? Or at least equal to them? Or does this site prove that releasing numerous unimpressive casinos is a better idea than attempting to combine brands into one better brand?
Design and theme
If you were expecting a barrage of designs fighting with each other for supremacy from this combination of the three aforementioned sites, you have no need to work, Winning Room has a clear understanding of what its theme is.
Black and pink may be an unexpected colour scheme choice for many and, to be fair, may also not appeal to a fair number of players, but it is executed very well here, with a charming logo and a sleek, sophisticated, look with the touches of pink adding an underlying sense of fun.
Even the model used on the homepage looks substantially more comfortable than her equivalents at numerous other sites who offer stare at the screen with a look that seems to sit somewhere between indifference and boredom.
There’s a few more colours thrown in here too, which will often be a bit too much, but in this case, the use of gentle pastel colours and the sparse use of anything but black and pink (and to a large extent, anything but black) ensures that it doesn’t ever get unpleasant.
Navigation is about as simple as it can be too, meaning that Winning Room Casino combines a stunning design with ease of use to create exactly what players want from the design of an online casino.
Games
Winning Room’s collection of games is not the best, but it’s not the worst either. Could there be more games on offer? Certainly. Is there enough to be getting on with for now? Undoubtedly.
With titles coming from 1X2 Network, Big Time Gaming, ELK Studios, Evolution, Microgaming, NetEnt, NextGen Gaming, Play'n GO, Push Gaming, Quickspin, Realistic Games, SG Digital, and Thunderkick has a great deal to offer to players of all preferences and levels of experience, and it is safe to assume the more developers will be added to this list in the near future as the site continues to grow, evolve, and develop.
Slots, table and card games, a live casino, video poker, whatever you are looking for you will find it at Winning Room, and find it in abundance.
As stated above, there is room for more content to be added here, and the hope is that Winning Room will do this as they continue to perfect the Frankenstein’s casino they have created from the bones of their previous sites, but this is an outstanding start.
