Right off the bat, Dazzle Casino irritates me. We will get into the site itself shortly, because this particular issue is not one that has anything to do with content.
When you open Dazzle Casino, and then you go to a different tab on your browser, the Dazzle Casino tab shouts at you, saying “Hey, come back”.
I’m sure this is supposed to be cute, but it is not, it’s annoying, and not only that, but in an industry where protecting addicts and other vulnerable customers is become increasingly important and mentioned more and more, such things are irresponsible at best, and immediately makes me like a site less and causes me to not recommend it. A fair few sites on the Progress Play network have similar additions, and it needs to stop, immediately.
Dazzle Casino has been on the market for a few years, and during that time has done very little to separate itself from its competitors, which is why it is highly likely that you have never heard the name of this casino before.
However, it’s still sticking around, so it must be doing something right, and as long as a casino continues to exist on the online market, it always has the ability to improve itself and become competitive, so has Dazzle Casino done this?
Design and theme
With a name like Dazzle Casino, you have the right to expect to be dazzled when you arrive, unfortunately, you will not be, not by any stretch of the imagination.
The only thing on the homepage that may dazzle you, is the information that welcome bonuses come with a 50x wagering requirement, which is higher than at most other sites.
The site isn’t unattractive, there’s a nice blue and green design at the top of the page, and then, well, then everything gets lazy.
Offering thumbnails to popular games has proven an effective tool at many a site, but it is not enough on its own, and it’s all there is here to mention really. The background is basically white, and no amount of little touches to suggest the lovely design from the top of the page can help it look unfinished, either intentionally or otherwise.
If you like subtle sites, there are better options, and you’re probably unlikely to have gone to a site called Dazzle to find subtle anyway. This is a terrible attempt at executing a concept, and at best, an average attempt at creating an attractive online casino.
Given its disappointing design, and annoying and needy habit of begging for your return if you go to any other page (have I mentioned how much I dislike that?) there needs to be a really impressive selection of games at Dazzle Casino if it has any hope of enjoying anything more than minimal levels of success.
Unfortunately, but unsurprisingly, there is nothing exciting going on here. ELK Studios, Microgaming, NetEnt, NextGen Gaming, NYX Gaming, and Thunderkick are all top-quality software developers that create and provide excellent games, but that’s all Dazzle has, and you can find all these providers other places with a lot more options along with them.
There’s slots, casino games, and jackpots here so you’ll find something to entertain you, but you shouldn’t have to, because there are so many better options around that nobody who has even been to an online casino of any quality would bother spending any time at Dazzle, because it feels like a site that has been phoned in.
So, to answer the request that Dazzle Casino seems so proud of making, however much you say hey, I shall not be coming back.
