Slots Force is a site that happily treads the line between acceptable space theme and copyright infringement, and does it with some style.
“May the Slots be With You” is the slogan here, which should give away the franchise that this site is (one would imagine, although cannot confirm), based on, if the name Slots Force didn’t do that by itself!
Slots Force comes from Cassava Enterprises Ltd, the people who brought you some of the online market’s most loved bingo sites including Robin Hood Bingo, Costa Bingo, Gossip Bingo, Moon Bingo, and many, many more.
Slots Force is a new venture for Cassava, because not only is this not a bingo focused site, it doesn’t have any bingo sites at all.
Launched in late April 2017 (although May the 4th would have perhaps been a more sensible launch date), Slots Force is evidence that Cassava understand the massive market offered by online casino sites. The logical step from bingo sites to casino sites is one that has been attempted by many companies that usually offer bingo sites, and these companies have had varying levels of fortune in finding success in the field.
Offering up a 100% bonus on the first deposit is certainly a good way for Slots Force to try and get noticed as a casino site, although the £50 limit will be seen as small by many, especially considering the wagering requirement is 40x the deposit and bonus amount.
Design and theme
It will not surprise you to learn that Slots Force has a space theme, with its possible influence. This is far from the first site to offer a space concept behind its design, meaning that there needs to be something special and unique about the style here, and there isn’t really.
The background looks more like a computer screensaver than an arty design concept, and the space theme to the information, with the likes of “Get ready for blast off” and “We hope your helmet is properly secured” feeling more like awkward Dad jokes than enticing linguistic trickery.
There is just nothing exciting about how this site looks. It looks okay, it’s quite attractive really, but it’s so astoundingly simple that it’s hard to be captivated by it.
Navigation is simple enough, and that’s certainly a good thing, but the problem is that without a few original design touches, it feels like painting-by-numbers, which is a shame really, because a little more effort and this could’ve been a striking looking casino.
Offering titles from software developers including 888 Holdings, Blueprint Gaming, Evolution, Eyecon, IGT, NetEnt, NextGen Gaming, NYX Gaming, PariPlay, SG Gaming, and Williams Interactive is certainly a good way to gain the attention of the online casino audience.
There’s a few names that could be added, granted, but for a site that has only been around for a few months (at the time of writing) this is certainly a good start.
The variety doesn’t end with the software providers either, with game types ranging from video slots, jackpot slots, table and card games, video poker, keno, scratch cards, and a live casino, making it likely that all players will find a multitude of games to suit their taste available at Slots Force.
Whether that is enough remains to be seen, the design really does take a lot away from this site, and as impressive as the selection of games is here, it’s not the best you’ll find.
All in all, this is quite an average site, but it’s new, and there’s time to fix it. A few tweaks, and Slots Force will be competitive, but until then, it won’t be of much interest to anyone except new player.
