Some may feel like nostalgia is not what it used to be, but the world of slots has always had a strong appreciating for looking backwards, and retro slots have never gone out of fashion.Taking this logic and running with it, Play’n Go have revamped their much-loved Mystery Joker slot. It’s called Mystery Joker 6000, and it’s a three-reel, five payline slot with a simple, classic design.
About the slot
When it comes to old school, you’ll struggle to outdo Mystery Joker 6000, from the digital style numbers denoting your bet size, amount in your account, and so on, to the fruit machine symbols (lemon, cherries, watermelon, and more) on the reels. There is no wild symbol here, something that may confuse fans of more modern slots a little, but there is a Joker bonus symbol, and that will trigger a feature, something that is fairly rare for a three-reel slot.
Gameplay
There are two game modes to Mystery Joker 6000, once you pick up a win, you can press the green button with the white arrow if you choose, that transfers your winnings to the Super Meter, which doubles your stake, but also doubles your winnings and enhances to Joker feature. The Joker symbol triggers the Mystery Wheel if you land three on a payline, one spin of the wheel is given, with a prize of up to 6,000x your stake up for grabs. If you are in Super Meter mode at this point, then two Jokers on the screen anyway (not necessarily on a payline) will give you a spin of the wheel, while three symbols anywhere on the reels will give you three spins on the Mystery Wheel.A simple slot, no doubt, but also one with a lot of excitement to it, this is an excellent revamping of a Play’n Go classic.
