Leading iGaming content provider Pragmatic Play are donating to local community charities within Gibraltar, Romania, and Malta during Q3 2021. Pragmatic believe in charities that help make the world a better place, therefore, is committed to being a proactive donator to various charities including homeless animals, abused women, and awareness and support for Parkinson’s disease.
Homeless Animal Hospital (Romania)
Established in 2011, the HAH was founded with the aim to educate and inform people who live in poverty about the importance of animal welfare and care. The team at HAH works immensely hard to treat homeless animals who have nobody to care for them. Pragmatic Play has worked closely with the animal hospital and seen first-hand how a small amount of love and care can have a hugely positive impact on these animals, giving them a better quality of life. They have donated €7,000 to the team to help with homeless animal care.
ANAIS (Romania)
Founded in 2011, the ANAIS is there to promote, respect, and defend women’s, young people, and children’s rights against abuse. Pragmatic has recently donated €10,000 to the association. ANAIS was so grateful; they returned the favour by inviting all women at Pragmatic Play to an educational workshop to prevent and combat violence towards women. Pragmatic hopes the donation will help ANAIS spread from a local level to national level governments to help protect women’s rights.
Step Up For Parkinson’s (Malta)
Pragmatic Play visited the Step Up For Parkinson’s team in Malta and witnessed the truly dedicated work the team conduct. Raising awareness and supporting people who suffer from Parkinson’s Disease, the team hold regular movement classes to encourage people who suffer from the debilitating disease with light exercise, dance, and movement. The team provides a much-needed hub for patients to create a feel-good factor and happy faces within the group. Pragmatic Play has donated €5,000 to the foundation with a view to helping to create a better quality of life for those affected by the disease.
YMCA (Malta)
The YMCA is a non-government organisation providing shelter and services to the homeless and disadvantage in the community. People in the community who have been underprivileged or have found themselves homeless have access to the YMCA services. The YMCA provides shelter, help to find a job, counseling services, and helping to integrate the homeless back into the community. Pragmatic has donated €10,000 to the YMCA and has said how hard the last 18 months have been, particularly for people in the homeless community. The past 18 months have seen mental health issues soar to an all-time high, the YMCA is needed more than ever in communities and the Malta YMCA seemed the perfect destination. Pragmatic appreciates all the efforts made by the staff and the whole range of services they provide to help get so many people back on track.
