Online Lottery player Vicky Mitchell has scooped a whooping £10,000 a month for the next 30 years, after playing the National Lottery’s ‘Set For Life’ game.Vicky, a mother of two from Halifax, England usually buys her lottery tickets from a shop. This particular day she purchased a ticket online as she was going on holiday.

Initially, Vicky had a £10 win on a Thunderball ticket but reinvested her winnings on various other lottery games including The National Lottery, ‘Set For Life game, where she won £5, little did she know the impact this game would eventually have on her life!Down to just £1.50 in her online account Vicky decided to buy 1 lucky dip for the Set for Life draw for the price of £1.50. The draw took place on Monday 12th August 2019. It was early on the Tuesday that she received an email confirmation she had won the top prize.

She quickly woke her partner Adam and said she had won the lottery, he replied ‘What a pound’, she replied no ‘look, look, look!’. The couple had a long wait to speak to the National Lottery as the email came through so early.The couple still can’t quite believe they have won the equivalent of £120,000 per year tax-free for 30 years but insists she will continue working.One of the biggest bonuses for Vicky is being able to purchase a second car. At present, she and partner Adam have to share the one car they own and she has to travel by bus if he has the car. They are also looking at planning some city breaks, Vicky said, “ I have always wanted to visit Budapest, as it’s suppose to be very pretty, so a few city breaks will also go in the diary.”Vicky became the fifth winner of the ‘Set For Life’ top prize, but she’s only the second to go public about her win.
