An unemployed father of four from Sheffield has been refused a £200,000 payout by the National Lottery.
Who’s claiming a win?
Unemployed Eric Walker, 56, of Sheffield, claimed he won big after saying he had scratched three matching symbols on the National Lottery’s £3-a-time Pharaoh’s Fortune card. To scoop the biggest win he would need to reveal 3 pharaoh symbols.
Scratch Card Details
The scratch card game contains sixteen coordinates, which are used to scratch off squares on a grid in the hope of matching three symbols. There are 10 possible matches and winnings range from £3 to a whopping £200,000.Now, we are no scratch card forgery expert but even with my limited knowledge and with the naked eye, I can spot this scratch card has been tampered with. The coordinated up for disrepute are E5/F5. Take a look at the actual image of the scratch card in question below. Mr. Walker is claiming that the coordinate is E5 and not F5. Interesting, both coordinates have been scratched off.Looking at the coordinates in question (E5), you’ll spot the difference between the E’s on E5 and on E6 and E1. The latter two are clear, bold stamps that stand out from the background. The Surposive E5, looks more like EF with a small line drawn at the bottom to imitate E5.Personally, we have to agree with Camelot’s decision to refuse a payout. What do you think about the scratch card?
