Ladbrokes has secured a deal with the English Football Association (FA) to become the association’s official betting partner.The long-term deal, which commences in August of 2016, covers the Premier League, the England national team, and The Emirates FA Cup.Gaining brand exposure for England men’s team matches, and across all Emirates Fa Cup rounds. Ladbrokes will also receive in-stadium betting rights at Wembley, being allowed to engage customers and attract new bettors at events in the stadium.Extremely happyMartin Glenn, CEO of the FA stated that the association is extremely happy to have struck the deal with Ladbrokes, and to welcome them on-board as one of their partners, an exclusive list of companies to say the least.Glenn went on to observe that the deal came at a time when the FA is investing record amounts of money into the game.

Jim Mullen, CEO of Ladbrokes, added that the company are delighted at the deal, which he says will place them at the “beating heart of football.”Mullen said that upon taking over at Ladbrokes last year, he had introduced a growth strategy that required the company to raise its spending in the most profitable areas for gambling customers.Mullen said that the deal with the FA was exactly what he was talking about, and that Ladbrokes can make a significant difference in the role as official betting partner to the FA.Kritof Fahy, Chief Marketing Officer at Ladbrokes, added that the deal proves the company’s ethos to be more than “a company that hands over a cheque, sits back, and hopes for the best.”
