SPINZILLA Review
Spinzilla arrived on the online casino scene with quite a splash back in mid-2016, which is quite an achievement in and of itself, but also only step one of a multitude of tough steps that a new site must make in order to just be competitive in the iGaming world, which is bursting at the seams with a plethora of established casinos and new releases, with no sign of the number doing anything but grow for the foreseeable future.
This means that all Spinzilla has thus far is a good start, which is great, but not enough on its own, now that Spinzilla has the attention of the online casino loving community, it has to keep it, and that takes constant evolution, and bringing something new and impressive on a regular basis.
Design and theme
Spinzilla is a site full of bold and bright colours, all set against a white backdrop to ensure that the general look of the site never gets too bright and distracting.
The design here is executed very well, the site works perfectly for desktop users, and is also an attractive and easy to use site if you are accessing it from a mobile or tablet, something that most online casinos have attempted to accomplish, and very few have managed over the years.
The focus is clearly on fun here, which has proven successful for a multitude of sites, but that sense of playfulness does not take away from the games on offer. It is clear that although they like to enjoy themselves, and want you to too, Spinzilla takes gaming very seriously and this comes across well here.
Between the banner that scans through various promotions, the thumbnails to popular games available on the homepage, and the easy to locate game categories and different sections of the site, navigation could not be much easier here, Spinzilla is one of the easiest sites to use that we’ve seen in recent years, and might just be one of the most attractive as well, which is an impressive combination.
Games
If there is a chink in the armour of Spinzilla, it is with the selection of games on offer, but to refer to that as a weakness seems unfair.
The games on offer here aren’t bad, nor is there a shortage of them particularly, there’s a decent collection from the likes of 888 Holdings, Eyecon, IGT, IWG, NetEnt, NYX Gaming, OpenBet, PariPlay, SG Gaming, and Williams Interactive.
The problem is, players have been spoilt by other sites, so they expect a huge number of developers on the list of those providing games to a site, and there aren’t quite enough here, especially considering the lack of big hitters like Microgaming, NextGen, and Playtech.
As the name suggests, slots are the main focus here, and there’s a smorgasbord of them available, but you’ll also find a fair few table and card games, and a handful of scratchcards thrown in to give some variety.
Spinzilla is a really good site, and with the addition of a few more software developers in the near future, it could become one of the best.
