It is true that Slotty Vegas is a site, and one could see why a site with a similar name would want to differentiate itself from that competition, but there is no site called Slotty, so that option was available, and if that was too close, then perhaps it would have been advisable to go a different direction instead of just spelling the word wrong.
Alas, that was not the case with Sloty (which may or may not be pronounced as ‘slow-tea’ as the name suggests) decided to run with the misspelling of a possible name, which makes limited sense, but, that being said, it does make one likely to remember it.
The actual reason for Sloty’s name, it should be mentioned, is that Sloty is a slot city, and was named by combining those two words, which makes sense, but does not change anything about how the name looks on first site.
Design and theme
Sloty is an online casino that is based in the sky, and it is a testament to the wide-ranging themes that only casinos come out with these days, that there is nothing strange about that phrase.
There are unique aspects to the design work here, although there are also some touches that are less than original, such as the models standing in the vicinity of casino based devices while looking like they have no real idea why they are there, and even less desire to stay,
Much of the artwork here revolves around the site’s most popular games, with artwork from various slots appearing on a scrolling selection of winged clouds that take their place in a banner across the top of the screen.
Scan down a little, and you will find a variety of thumbnails that you can search through, but they are on a sliding reel so they don’t take up too much of the page, which allows for space for the Sloty resort, a huge, futuristic cloud city covered in casino based imagery and even more characters from popular games, scan down further, and you’ll find the traditional thumbnails in a block if that’s what you prefer.
There’s a lot going on here, but the continuity of the theme means that it never gets to be too much.
